  • 1 teaspoon black soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the rice: Mix black soy sauce, light soy sauce, sesame oil, and Maggi sauce with the cooked rice. Toss in grilled pork, ham, and lotus seeds.
  2. Prepare sausage: Arrange sliced Chinese sausage on a microwave-safe plate in a circular pattern. Cover loosely with kitchen paper and microwave on High for 1 minute.
  3. Prepare lotus leaves: Clean and dry the lotus leaves. Place one salted yolk in the center of each leaf, surrounded by 5 slices of sausage. Spoon about 1½ cups of rice mixture on top.
  4. Wrap: Fold the lotus leaf into a square package and turn upside-down.
  5. Steam in microwave: Place wrapped lotus leaves on the microwave steamer rack. Steam on High for 2½ minutes each. Serve hot.
