Japanese Steamed Egg
Ingredients
| 2 | eggs | |
| 1 | cup | chicken stock |
| 1 | tablespoon | Japanese soy sauce |
| 1½ | teaspoons | Mirin (Japanese rice wine) |
| ½ | teaspoon | salt |
| 2 | shrimps, shelled | |
| 2 | Â pieces | chicken, 2″x 2″ sliced |
| 4 | ginko nuts | |
| 2 | chinese black mushrooms |
Beat eggs and chicken stock in a small mixing bowl and strain through muslin to another bowl. Season with soy sauce, Mirin and salt. Pour the egg mixture into 2 narrow bowls (4-inch diameter). Put chicken meat, Shrimps, ginko nuts and black chinese mushrooms into each bowl and cover tightly with microwave plastic wrap. Cook at Defrost (200 Watts) for 9 minutes. Serve hot.
