Ingredients
| 2 | cups | cooked rice |
| 4 | cups | fish stock |
| ½ | tablespoon | ground ginger or galangal |
| 300 | grams | thickly sliced grouper or white fish fillets |
| 2 | tablespoons | fish sauce |
| ¼ | cup | chopped celery |
| ½ | teaspoon | ground pepper |
| 1½ | tablespoons | crispy fried garlic |
Pour the stock and ground ginger in a 2-quart serving bowl, cook, covered at High (600-700 Watts) for 7 minutes. Add fish meat, fish sauce to the bowl, cover and cook at High for 5 minutes. Add cooked rice to the boiling soup just before serving. Sprinkle on top with fried garlic, celery and pepper, serve hot. (for 4 servings)
